QuickBooks Desktop

Sometime ago, we decided to move away from QuickBooks Desktop and to limit our bookkeeping practice to QuickBooks Online. This is the text of our announcement from a few years ago:

We have an important update to share regarding our services at Sheldon Bookkeeping. After thorough evaluation, we have decided to focus exclusively on supporting QuickBooks Online, discontinuing our support for QuickBooks Desktop.

Effective immediately, Sheldon Bookkeeping will no longer provide assistance or services related to QuickBooks Desktop. However, we are fully committed to ensuring a seamless transition for all our clients.

If you are currently using QuickBooks Desktop and wish to continue working with us, we will gladly assist you in converting your data file to QuickBooks Online. Our team will ensure that your financial data is accurately transferred, allowing for uninterrupted bookkeeping services.

For clients who prefer to remain on QuickBooks Desktop, we have established partnerships with reputable bookkeeping professionals who specialize in supporting desktop users. We will be pleased to provide you with referrals to these trusted experts.

We believe that this transition will enable us to better serve your evolving needs and provide you with the most efficient and up-to-date bookkeeping solutions available.

As of July 1, 2024, QuickBooks Desktop will no longer be sold to new customers (the only exception is Desktop Enterprise). Current subscribers will continue to be supported, but those that have not updated will soon lose functionality. Our offer to assist in the transition from Desktop to Online remains available.
